The national football team of Colombia, known as "Los Cafeteros" (The Coffee Growers), represents Colombia in men's international football competitions.
History and Achievements
Founded in 1924, the Colombian Football Federation is the governing body for the sport. The team has qualified for six FIFA World Cups, reaching the quarterfinals in 2014. Colombia has also won two Copa América titles (2001 and 2016), as well as the 2003 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Colombia is renowned for its attacking style of play and has produced a number of world-class players, including Carlos Valderrama, Radamel Falcao, and James RodrÃguez.
